I have feelings too

if i

had

an apple tree for each time you made feel

very special, i would,

essentially, have an orchard.

 

frankly,

every time you came running back,

every time you made me believe I could be

loved,

i should have known better.

now i have too many apple trees

growing in my garden and not enough

space for each

tree.

 

on a good day, i would love the free fruit.
• sadly, i don’t have those anymore.
