Base ideas
I’m starting a new solo run after a few months of not playing, anyone have any ideas for a challenging/interesting base spot?

Louisville train station upper floor.
Crossroads mall.
Small fire station in south East LV.
The gas station in Akron (the town in the middle of doe valley)

Like downtown Louisville or?

If you reach it. I'm always live in downtown, no Matter the city, I like the risk. Who wants to live a boring life in the woods

Agreed. When I first started playing I was like I'm going to live in the woods away from everything... I quickly got over that.

My favorite is a roof base where you live on a roof and thrive it’s better if you start a farm on the roof with a rain collector

The huge warehouse in Muldraugh is perfect for that. I've been too obsessed with the gated community in Riverside to explore many other bases, but that's one of my top picks.

Player made tower in the woods, near a river. Risk death to build vertically lol

Spend the first 10 days in Rosewood to skill up and survive the chopper, then grab a car and head here to base for long term.
The map is wrong for the area just south of here. There are mansions and a small park with a pond you can fish in. It's really nice!

Take over a tower at the prison.
