We all know what's going to happen, but the anticipation is unreal!

Whoever's filming is a great cameraman but a bad parent and a bad dog owner.

It's so obvious how this is going to turn out: a quick NO! OUTSIDE! would have prevented the whole problem.

stingraycharles•

Why would you tell the baby to go outside?

167
StantasticTypo•

Seriously. The baby's not going to understand that, you just have to put it outside.

man I went so long without seeing this

20
InfinityCircuit•

I'm trying to bring it back when I see it. I remember it being one of the fun Reddit traditions.

Hold my diaper, I'm going in.

Boy oh boy down the rabbit hole I go!

See y'all on the other side!

4

Hold my passy, I’m going in!

2

I couldn't find the bottom, the hole is endless...

2
Professor01114•

Hold my dog, I'm going in!

2
Ouch-MyBack•

Well now I feel bad for laughing.

77
h8speech•

No need, I don’t think the kid’s actually hurt - and it is pretty funny, right? Just, I mean, if it was your kid you’d probably have said something

62
Ad_Eater•

Depends. Babies are solid but very young, their brains are pretty sensitive.

7
Threat-Level--12am•

Babies are often very young

25
celebral_x•

Not if you hate it I guess xd

1
scelestai•

Babies are rubbery its probably fine.

29
rdrunner_74•

The best clip i have is my son on a slide.

He forgets to break and lands face first. Nicely shot without a shaking and (only a cussing wife afterwards)

7
eearthling•

I don’t.

3
Xiaxs•

Or just pick the baby up. No need punishing the dog for having the zoomies.

37
CecilPennyfeather•

The “NO!” accomplishes very little here. You don’t have to scold the dog, just redirect its attention to treats, a toy, etc. and you accomplish exactly what you need without unnecessary yelling at your dog for being a dog.

The dog doesn’t know the baby is clueless and uncoordinated. The dog doesn’t understand English. But, it does understand yelling and negativity. Positive reinforcement is the way, folks.

33
LifeHasLeft•

Outside is neutral — without yelling no and having the dog go outside you prevent the problem before it happens and you don’t need to concern yourself with rewarding situational behaviour you maybe don’t want to (entirely context dependent)

4
OddAuthor•

Tbf, we don't know if the camera person is the parent or even the dig owner.

3
Ichmag11•

Then who is he? A burglar?

18
ChunkyLaFunga•

The babysitter

8
OddAuthor•

Could just be a visitor

Such important details.

ieGod•

When the criticism is levied against specifics it helps to understand that those specifics may not be applicable.

3
Delanium•

The baby and dog were both clearly having a great time, so I think the move would be to just let the baby sit in your lap and brace every time the dog runs up. They both get to keep having fun, and if the dog crashes it'll just be in your arms and not the baby.

3
h8speech•

I like that, everyone wins

3
murticusyurt•

Don't give out to your dog when a new baby is involved. Just avoid these situations.

1
Netfear•

But how would they get fake internet points without endangering their child?!?

1
dowker1•

I think that baby is too young to understand the word "outside"

0
Achaboo•

Babies bounce back pretty quick but the dog owner should have see what was destined to happen.

Party foul: - dong owner - .5

               - dog - .5

Result - baby wins

The parent gets points back for dropping the phone immediately. Usually the person keeps recording.

2
johno_mendo•

yah, this was basically a baby bull fight for internet points

2

as a dong owner i agree

2
generatorland•

Intetesting that we all anticipated this but the person with the camera didn't.

178
FaceDeer•

They didn't notice which subreddit they were in.

I mean it says it right above the video.

Your dog is running around frantically, risking to damage your baby’s skull. Do you :
A - Put the dog outside
B - Pick up your baby
C - Put the dog on a leash
D - Keep recording because lol

That looked like a nasty fall, the kids head just slammed on the floor with speed.

I wouldn't ever let an animal running around with that much excitement around an unguarded baby.

I'm sure its safe since u posted but still a dumb move.

20
fryseyes•

That assumption (safe) is about as bold as the person recording.

I HAD to tap the video to check how long until the end. I couldn't wait any longer!
