My first match to the Emirates!
This match feels like the calm before the storm
Ahhhh Pepe, really thought he would kick on after this
I can't believe Ozil played here only 3 years ago.
Özil was immense in this game. I remember him actually contributing to our defensive phase aswell
Yup, for that short period under Arteta before his freezing, he was excpetional both offensively and defensively. I remember thinking if he had put aside his ego and finally listened to the manager. But don't know wtf happened after that and during the pandemic for him to never feature again.
Finally someone who actually remembers that Özil was great under Arteta and wasn’t entirely shit in the last couple of years for us like some haters would want this sub to believe.
I was in London and went on a stadium tour that day or two before man city was cancelled
The staff were all backing us to beat them, with a twinkle in their eyes when they talked about arteta
Those 10 games before the lockdown and those ozil clips during the lock down had me so hyped man...
