Umbrella extender for tall people

I was out on the course Friday. First year of winter golf. It being the Northwest in December, there were intermittent showers so I was excited to finally put the umbrella attachment on the push cart to use. However, it would be nicer if I could raise the height of the umbrella a few inches. Any other tall golfers find a solution for this?

Get a longer umbrella?

The ClicGear adjustable umbrella holder also raises the umbrella slightly. You can also buy the spacer if you don't need the adjustability.

I had the same problem. I just shoved a 1.5” piece of abs pipe into the clicgear umbrella holder and the grip of the umbrella fits snug into the section of pipe. Raised the umbrella up about 8” depending on how long the piece of pipe is. Worked great.

This seems to be the consensus for us tall folk. Looks like it’s arts and crafts time

I had to buy the MGI umbrella holder extender for this exact reason. Unfortunately the extra leverage turns the umbrella into a sail in the slightest breeze.

If your pushcart brand doesn’t offer an umbrella extender, you can try a PVC pipe.
