CPU not thermal throttling, still doesn't reach boost speed at full load.
Forget boost speed, my cpu runs at ~100MHz higher than base speed under full load.
CPU - Ryzen 3 3200g
MB - MSI A320M - A PRO MAX
Ram - 2x8GB 2666MHz - OC to 2800MHz
SSD - 128GB SATA boot drive
HDD - 1TB + 512GB 3.5" HDDs
GPU - Integrated GPU (Radeon Vega 8)
PSU - 450W standard PSU
OS - Win11
Monitor - 2x 1366x768p (both converted to VGA output via HDMI and DVI-D adapters)
Cooler - AMD Wraith Stealth Cooler (stock)
BIOS - AMI 7C52VC (latest)
No overclocks, I don't even think my motherboard supports CPU overclocking.
As seen here, the base clock of my cpu is 3.6 GHz and boost clock is 4.0GHz.
- At idle, the clocks go as low as 2.2 GHz. (Temp ~50 C)
- Even when given full load (all 4 cores), the clocks max out at 3.7 GHz. (Temp ~80C)
- All clock values have been taken from Win11's Task manager
- Yes, High performance power plan is enabled
- Checked whether CPU is throttling in HWinfo64.
- CPU was stressed via CPU-Z stress test.
Please help!
