Congrats! It took me a long time to clear my first EO game. No small feat lol. I also took advantage of that big Atlus sale, I hope they do another one before the end of the eshop on March 27. They're the most perfect games for that system. 🤞

EO3 was my first EO game and made me hooked up on the entire series.

BTW, the game is not over yet. After the credits, go deeper into this dungeon and map the area of the last boss for a surprise ;)

Congrats!
EO3 will always be my favorite.

My party is proof that you don’t have to have to optimize to do alright. My team was a Gladiator/Arbalist, Arbalist/Gladiator, Hoplite/Ninja, Zodiak/Prince, Monk/Prince

I spent most of the game with my front row being the Glad/Arb/Hop but in the last stratum I put my Monk on the front row to benefit from the Zodiak’s Dark Ether since there were lots of really hard hitting status changing enemies in Strat 5 and I was using Prevent Order a whole lot, and the Hoplite’s most used abilities, Bodyguard and Provoke, are both really cheap on TP. By the end my Zodiak was just a full-time TP battery that basically never attacked. All I did with her princess subclass was 5 points into everything on the Monarch March tree for a little extra staying power in the dungeons, but by the end that wasn’t all that helpful anymore. Gladiator and Arbalist both focused on big charged attacks for high damage output. Monk/Prince just did all the normal Prince buffs but with the Monk’s class skill boosting Pro

Nice, what was your party and how were they? looking for ideas for my eo3 playthrough

The one that got away.

I cry everytime I see how much it has risen in value 😰

It was the first with NG+ but the only one with multiple paths. Others add more options of what to carry over to the NG+, in 3 you keep everything you had iirc.

Is this the only game with NG+? It’s the only one with multiple paths right? So is NG+ just to support multiple runs to see all the paths or is that a series staple?

You should do NG+ now with the other choice. It is pretty quick compared to first time through because you keep your high level party. It was my gateway into doing the post game in the rest of the series because it really highlights that the credits aren't the end.

Oi I am right at the final boss for EO3 (the "true path" boss), and it is, of course, super difficult. So I'm probably going to need to grind a bit before I can conquer it. Congrats!

I got the deep city ending in EO3. I don’t usually even get on with long RPGs but this game really got its hooks in me. I got all the 3DS games except Mystery Dungeon in a big Atlus sale a while back, so I’ll be eating good for a long while with this series. I’m going to play some other stuff next to be sure I don’t burn out, but I can’t wait to get into the 3DS series. EO3U gang rise up!

Just rolled credits on my first EO game!
