My Apple Watch S6 screen popped up (rant)
So basically I have this Apple Watch S6 (44mm) and it's been so frustrating lately. About 6 months ago, my watch (bought in 2021) was turned off and was not turning on. Its battery was dead and every time I was trying to charge it, it was just kept overheating. I realized it one day when I woke up and my watch was burning hot on the charger. The summary of this is here
After 2 months of living without my watch, my watch came back to me repaired 4 months ago (under guarantee). Its serial number was different and this subreddit suggested that the whole watch was replaced with another watch. Even though this was another "new" watch, in the settings it looked like its coverage was nearly ending just like my old watch. Still, I was happy that my watch was being able to get fixed without an extra price.
Yesterday I realized that the screen of my Apple Watch was wobbling whenever I was pressing it and the screen was a bit of popped up. (The screen works just fine) This wasn't an accidental damage and it happened by itself. I brought it to the store I purchased it from for it to be serviced and was informed that the fee of it getting it fixed was around the price of a new watch. Even though it has only been 4 months that I have own this "new" watch. I don't even know if this watch was a faulty one because I can't believe the screen popped up in 4 months when the previous one was okay for 1.5 years.
I don't know what to do at this point. According to the system, my coverage is expired and it is expensive to fix/replace it again. I have this replaced watch for only 4 months and I feel like there should be a way for it to be fixed for a better deal.
