My take on the Carr situation
First off i want to say i love Carr. But that doesnt blind me from judging this team. Carr was never THE problem. BUT that doesnt negate the problems he brought. Since 16, Carr folds in the pocket. He’s a statue. I get the injury causes hesitation, but its limiting the impact on the field his legs could bring. Now its reached a point where i don’t think 9 years in, Carr would simply turn the clock. Not only that, we ALL know our defense has been God awful, outside of a few players. Raiders had decent cap space even with Carr, but theres no denying the flexibility his contract would open up. This summer alone we can address the average Oline and Bottom dwelling defense BOTH. Instead of picking either or, like we do every summer. I wish the best for Carr truly. He gave it his all but Carr isnt a QB that can carry a limited team. Hes a guy that needs everything in place. And as Raider fans, when was the last time we seen our team nicely constructed?
