Scale for cats

Both of my cats have conditions where I need to carefully track their weights to make sure they aren’t losing or gaining weight, so I want an accurate scale for them. I got the Beurer baby scale from chewy and it’s a mess. I can’t seem to get an accurate reading at all, and it’s difficult getting them to stay still. I thought they’d go right on it but no such luck.

Does anyone know of a better pet scale, or a human scale that’s accurate down to maybe 1/4 of a pound, so I could hold them subtract my weight? The internet seems to say it’s not accurate enough that way, because of movement and weight distribution but I don’t see how? Mass is mass?
