Questions/rumors concerning the live action

I do not mean to unnecessarily stir anything up, but I wondered if anyone could help me understand some of the following, concerning tgcf's adaption to 'Eternal Faith', since I've little understanding of how to navigate rumors. I should have kept sources, but simply never did, so now I'm kind of lost.

Consider that I've no proper source of updates, so if anyone could point me in the right direction, appreciated!

- Last year I remember reading multiple twitter threads on the supposed walk-out of the director and the cancellation of the live action, also due to poor progress and props (or something along those lines) - has this ever been confirmed the case?

- I remember seeing a photo/update somewhere that the live action had actually finished filming, so did it in fact get fully produced?

- Is there anywhere at all to follow progress on Chinese media productions/status? Where I'm from it's common to share a lot of behind-the-scenes and updates-on-release type of news, even before official teasers. Of course I've seen all sorts of photos float about of the production, but what sources release these? Are they 'official' or 'paparazzi'?

- The current rumor I was told by a friend is that supposedly, some series that were held back for a while are going to be released this year, also to compete with US and other foreign TV shows. Anyone have any information on that?

It feels a bit delicate to address this topic since it touches censorship and production patterns of a country that I'm not part of. There's no intention to bring any negative attention to this. Like others I'm simply hoping for a release, as someone who has been an avid fan of the novel for a few years, it would just be so magical to see these characters come to live in another adaptation. However, I always hope for the best and kind of prepare for the worst..
