People who label themselves as "Lokean": why?

New to Heathenry

Please don't assume I'm attacking anyone, I'm just genuinely curious because AFAIK this isn't a phenomenon you see with any other god. What makes you identify with "Lokean" instead of (or alongside) a more general label like "heathen"? Is it because you mainly/only worship Loki? Or do you worship the other gods as well, but it's just that Loki is the most special to you?

I've seen a couple people explain that it's because Loki worship has (at least in modern times) been mocked or vilified by other heathens, so people who wanted to worship him needed a separate community to do so. And that's obviously fine, and that would explain why there aren't equivalent labels for people who worship the "normal" gods like Freyja or Thor. But if that's the case, I don't understand why you would put Lokean right in your flair on a general subreddit like this one if you were worried about being attacked. I guess it's more of a pride thing?
