Has the OA story been expanded past season 2 in book or other media?

I loved this series. I’m watching it again with my wife and I had forgotten how much this story had interested me. Are there an books or other media that provides more of the story beyond season 2 on Netflix? Is Netflix just hoarding the rights or has the story been shopped around for someone else to pick up?
