Issues with mods working

Pretty new to the game but very much enjoying it. I decided to dabble with some mods but I’m having some issues getting them to work. I went to the workshop and found a few quality of life mods and clicked subscribe. I booted up the game and went to the mods section and clicked enable on them and they turned green. There was one that said missing dependency so I went and got that and it allowed me to enable it. I then continued my progress in single player and none of them were active.

Is there something I’m missing? Maybe I disabled mod’s accidentally when I first created the single player game? Any info would be great, thanks!
