Following my circus dreams

Hello y’all! I’m a 17 year old performer and costume designer for a local circus. I’ve been doing circus for just under a decade on and off. My dream is to preform and make costumes for a living and then open up my own studio. I really love preforming and I’m just starting to get into really serious training. Any advice? Or college programs that would support this? My Brain is telling me that going for it is idiotic but my heart is telling me I’ll be happy.
