[TOMT][SONG][2012-2015 likely] A pop song similar to Sweater Weather maybe...

I remember a pop song that used to play on the radio, and I used to confuse it with Sweater Weather by The Neighborhood. I think they were released around the same time or I just listened to both songs at around the same time. I can hear female or higher pitched male vocals, vibes similar to Sweater Weather by The Neighborhood or even a song by Bleachers but I don't think it's from either. The song has isn't slow per se but does have a fairly mellow sound to it. I'll try to whistle what I remember, particularly the chorus

The artist wasn't super popular i.e. Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry or even Fun. etc. In fact I think this was one of their more popular songs but then they seemed to have faded into obscurity but I could be wrong. I'm pretty sure it came out no earlier than 2012 and no later than 2015 but I scanned hit lists on YouTube from those years and didn't see it, unless I just missed it somehow so maybe it's not as popular as I thought.
