I am a bit scared now

So I finished the entire Cambridge ielts 16 book and I was doing considerably well on academic reading and listening (37-40).But someone suggested me to take computer based test on this website called IELTSonlinetest.com .I just took the listening test and my score came down to 32.

The test was full of 3 word (maximum 3 words) fill in the blanks....are these kind of questions common on the ielts listening.

Can someone experienced help me out
