Why do I see so many Elantra ads

I am looking to buy my first car under 10k, from various places including this group. I was advised to stick with Toyota or Honda. I was just curious why there are so many used Elantras being sold in the Facebook marketplace. A few friends asked me to consider it too, and also Kia since they are affordable than Toyota and Honda

I am just concerned after seeing a lot of Elantra ads, are people dumping the car because of some issue with it?
