I am separated from my wife, but we might get back in 4-8 months, should i get myself a tv and a dining table

I'm getting bored in the apartment I want to play video games and watch tv, but there is a good chance that we will get together, we are going through couples therapy and i am trying to change myself and be a better communicator. I pay rent in 4 installments so the next installment is within 4 months, and if we decide we need more time then it's an additional 4 months and so on.

I'm just worried that if i buy a table and a tv (i'm not even sure if i should shell out or get something just ok) i might end up moving back with her and i'm worried i'll have trouble selling this shit.
