How long does it take for you to fall in love?

So, hi, guys. I’ve been thinking on the possibility I’m demiromantic for a while now. Mostly bc I joined r/aromantic bc I loved the memes. And then I started sharing them and allos wouldn’t get it. I thought it was bc I’m demisexual and this was the reason why I found it funny. But after entering a server on discord (mainly lgbtq), a couple people asked me if I was in the aromantic spectrum. I said no, but then I read about demiromantics bc I thought it was the closest to what I experienced as demisexual and I was kinda shocked to see how much I related to it.

What is keeping me from fully adopting this label is, well, my wife. See, we’ve met when I was too young and she was older (we were both teens, but since she was older than me, she didn’t give me much attention). We started talking years later and, after a few weeks, I was already in love. I think maybe this was kinda fast? But again, demisexuals can feel sexual attraction for someone quicker than they had for another person.

So, mainly I’d like to know your experiences (if that’s okay) and if this is still something that happens in the demiromantic community too.
