Swollen All Over and Feeling Sick
I'm a 39 yo, Caucasian female. Around two weeks ago, my wrists and ankles started hurting. I noticed my feet and ankles had very visible edema. When I press my finger on my feet, the dent stays for at least a minute. In the last days, my eyelids, cheeks, and fingers also got swollen. I feel intense tightness at my calves. I started feeling a bit nauseaus, have intestinal discomfort, and I have these internal vibration sensations and mild pain when touched in my lower abdomen.
I was diagnosed with Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease, Antiphospholipid Syndrome, and Hashimoto's. I'm on 200 mgs of Hydroxychloroquine and a baby aspirin daily. I used the home urine test sticks provided by my doctor a few times. Results are: Protein levels in urine may be very slightly raised (The color for negative on the test stick is yellow, the color for +1 positive is green. My results are a mostly yellow surface with a slight tint of green at some points). White blood cells very mildly positive, and bilirubine very mildly raised. All others normal. I urinate at the same frequency and amount as always right now, but a few days ago, for a few days, I noticed a bit of a decrease in count of times. The appearance is the same as always.
My blood pressure is in normal range, but I started hearing my pulse in my ears when I lie down, with a sense of pressure in my head, from time to time.
My ankles get swollen like this around 3 days after I get Covid booster shots (documented by my doctor as vaccine side-effect) and my doctor gave me Voltaren gel for it last time. However, this time, it's been more than two months since I had my last shot, and the swelling is not only in my ankles. I also had a high dose methylprednisolone treatment three weeks after the shot for autoimmune sensorineural hearing loss, which ended a week before these new symptoms came on.
What can be the problem and what should I do? Is this an emergency?
