Is my basement done for?
We closed on our first home about a year and a half ago. After living in it for a bit, we realized the basement would flood after heavy rains or snow melting. The water appears to be coming up through the cracks and if it rains intensely creates a massive puddle in the center of our basement - better yet, underneath our heater which is sitting on top of some cinder blocks. When we moved in, the house passed inspection and we weren't made aware that the basement floods despite the signs being there, rust on the pillars holding the floor up, the blocks under our water system and hvac. What do we do from here? I feel like this repair will be expensive so what would that estimate potentially look like?

Also want to mention that directly under the hvac the cracks are peculiarly in the almost perfect shape of a circle. Thay area ends up being the central part of the puddle
