Is there any hope for a permanent resolution of the Kashmir issue?

Hi everyone, just wanted your opinions on something.

Do you think it is possible to resolve the Kashmir issue in the long term, to the point where Pakistan claiming Kashmir looks stupid and unthinkable? a day where most kashmiris are fully integrated into Indian society and see themselves as Indian first, rather than as Kashmiri/Pakistani?

What path do you think such a solution will take?
