I HATE SOLICITORS

First time buyers and our solicitors are absolutely ABYSMAL.

The amount of stress is build up because they are so bad at communicating anything to us. Half the stuff we know about the process is from the seller

Today our solicitor asked us to provide documents we already provided and when we said we already sent this the reply was “it wasn’t sufficient enough”… WHAT WASNT? Tell us what is needed specifically.

We also chased them for a month as they said they were waiting for documents. Spoke to the seller and their solicitors had sent the docs 3 weeks ago putting us behind a month.

The seeker and the person they are buying from want a completion date of 27/01 and I really don’t expect that’s going it happen now. We haven’t even had the contract yet. So so angry stressed and upset.

We are holding everyone else up and am worrying it’s going to fall through because of their incompetence

Is anyone able to give advice or relay a similar experience that didn’t end terribly?
