Left stick throttle mapping

Looking to map stick up/down with throttle up/down in a linear way. I.e as stick is bumped up or day the throttle in DCS will increase or decrease. I’ve tried mapping keybindings as a way to do this but it’s way to sensitive and just jumps the throttle. Anyone done this before? I have full featured rewasd.
