Ventilation on framed cels

I have cel which has early stages of vinegar syndrome. Naturally I'm concerned with gas buildup over time and further degradation to the cel, but this particular piece I'd really like to have displayed instead of locked away in it's own cel book.

Would it be at all beneficial to use a frame that is ventilated on the bottom to promote airflow or would constant ventilation actually exacerbate the problem?
