Did Buffy's Slaying Cause Her Parents Divorce?

Was that hinted at in the show? After Buffy returns from her first slaying, Hank & Joyce start arguing over her being out late at night. We of course know they divorce soon after.

It seemed like they disagreed on how to discipline Buffy. Joyce was more lax while her dad was angry.
