How bad is public transportation in the Mon Valley?
I know I’m a little out of the way, but I figured this is the best place to ask. In November I was in an accident and totaled my car. I’m unfortunately dependent on my parents (trying to change that) and it’s their decision about replacing the car. I have a remote job lined up but it doesn’t start for a few weeks. I’m looking to get a job until this other one starts but I live in a remote-ish area.
Is there a way to familiarize yourself with the bus system? How do you access info? I tried looking at the MMVTA (mid mon valley transit authority) website and it is SO confusing. I’ve heard stories and have fears of taking a bus somewhere and not being able to make it back from that destination.
ETA- there is a power dynamic between my parents and I. They’re my parents so they control as much of my life as possible. They are there to tear me down to their amusement. They’ll buy the next car, or I’ll save to get one but I guarantee they’d sabotage something like a car purchase for me. If anyone has tips or support on starting a life away from narcissistic or abusive parents that would be great. I’m working to make my own path but I haven’t been able to make the break.
