Does being a Spiritual Care volunteer count as clinical volunteering experience?

The role of a Spiritual Care volunteer, I believe, is to basically support families and patients at important times of necessity or just at any times that are valuable using religion (this is from what I have read). If anyone can provide more information about what spiritual care volunteering is, or their experiences doing this (and whether it counts as clinical volunteering), I would greatly appreciate it!
