Should have I waited for the new RTX 40 series?

Just purchased this laptop to be a gaming only laptop: Legion 5 Pro 16" QHD Gaming Laptop 165Hz R7-6800H 16GB DDR5 1TB SSD RTX 3070 Ti from Antonline.

Would have I been better to wait for the new ones? Or this one will do me good for several years?
