A newbie

Hello there, I recently joined a somewhat pbp group of dnd and there was no number of posts per day rules just a casual write whenever you can. Now I am busy enough not to be able to join a campaign that takes a couple of hours weekly but not THAT busy not to be able to check my discord every few hours for a 15 min text... The thing I am wondering is, is it rude to be the one that's writing the most in the group, there are days where a couple of people post a few messages daily but I get the feeling I am spamming, so I wanted to check how does this community feel towards that, should I actively try to restrain myself even when I think I could help another player with an inspiration or an advantage?
