Bluetooth issues

Hi, I have a marshall code 25 guitar amplifier that connects to my phone via Bluetooth in order to change amplification settings. The issue is that it also connects to the phone for media output which is obviously not ideal. It's irritating to have to change the media output to "phone" every time I connect. Is there a way to allow a device to connect to Bluetooth but stop it connecting as a media device? Thanks
