HDMI 2.1 too good?

Recently I bought HDMI 2.1 cable for the future GPU and monitor (why not lol). I have GTX 1060 6gb and 4k60hz LG television. Before purchase I used my old HDMI 2.0b cable. Now when I switch for the better HDMI cable, I get noticible input lag/delay on screen. This doesn't happen with 2.0b cable. It can't be that 2.1 one is "too good" or I don't know something that I should?
