Tinnitus spike during thunderstorm

I've had tinnitus for years now. It's gotten worse in the last couple years or so.

Last night we had nasty storms. All night, on and off. I also noticed that my tinnitus was exacerbated.

Now, it's back to it's "normal" state.

I wonder if it has something to do with sudden drops in barometric pressure. I can't recall this happening before. Perhaps I never noticed if it did, or it's something new. Not sure.

Anyone else ever had this?
