How do courses that apply for multiple requirements handled?

This semester, I’m taking WGSS 2350 and am using it to satisfy one of the Texas core requirements. However, as I am apart of CLASS, this course should also satisfy one of the CLASS Block Requirements. In this case, as I know I will only get 3 credits from this course, can one of these requirements then be replaced by an elective course, since they should both be fulfilled? Or can WGSS only apply for one requirement?
