So like, what do y’all do for New Years Eve here?

I’m leaving back to Texas soon because I have to return back to work and school but I spent my NYE here and what the.. So like y’all don’t do a ball drop or have a huge fireworks thing to celebrate the new year? Literally all of downtown Dallas is locked up cause of pedestrian traffic and car traffic. We have fireworks display onto the whole Dallas skyline. Idk I’ll attach a pic cause words don’t describe it. Idk I was saddened to find out I couldn’t find a fireworks display anywhere. Only NYE events I saw happening on Facebook or google was clubs or bars doing midnight toasts with champagne. Anyone can enlighten me? Am I just in the wrong part of Kansas?
