Ideas/solutions needed - multi overdrive pedal w/ drastic volume imbalance

Hi gang :) I've been building my first pedal board and, so far, have had some pretty decent luck.

I've hit a snag, however, and had a theoretical question: can I turn the volume up on this multi-channel drive pedal for the quieter tones, and use a noisegate to throttle the louder ones?

I wanted to do a multi-channel drive almost like an amp simulator for varied tones, but the volume on this pedal is drastically different.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

For a bit of background, I play a fair deal of punk, surf, and classic/outlaw country. I mostly play on either an Epi LP Studio or a V132 with some amazing p90s.

If you want a rig rundown I can list the pedals as well :)

Thanks!
