I was watching Heathers last night and noticed some parallels

Between the relationship of Veronica Sawyer and Heather Chandler and Alison and the Liars.

Basically, in the movie, Veronica does not like Heather for being such a horrible person, but she can be just as bad as Heather if not even at times, worse. The only difference is that Heather is outwardly cruel.

And while I guess a lot of you might disagree with me upon rewatching the show, I see the same with Alison and the Liars. While they are not as bad as her, they are more like her than they think (especially Spencer and Aria). Water seeks its own level, as my sister would say, we were discussing it some time ago and she felt the same way.

For instance, the Liars admonish Alison for blackmailing Toby to take the fall for the Jenna Thing with the knowledge of him and Jenna's relationship, but they do the same thing: they blackmail Jenna into keeping quiet about what happened to her with the knowledge of her forcing herself on Toby.

Another instance I found is how Aria, like Alison, is constantly wanting to seem more mature by others.

But that's just me, what do you think?
