Hello, I am looking for 1 player to join a 5 (total) person group for bi-weekly Saturday night megadungeon madness @ 830 pm. Most players have kids (will be in bed at that time).

There's no application, if you are interested message me privately and it's a first come first serve basis. That being said creepy stuff is not tolerated and the banhammer is swift and true. If you wash out, I will contact the next person who messaged me in chronological order.

Disclosures below. Please make note that I made this long list so we're all on the same page and there are no surprises. I realize some of these things are deal breakers for some and I wish them the best.

• Campaign mostly about the struggle of good/neutral monsters in an evil world, nature vs. nurture, and expectations vs. reality. A book cannot be judged by its cover.

• There is a restriction on alignment and playable races. (We're doing good/neutral campaign using 11 pre-selected monster races.)

• The other players have a couple to a few years of experience

• Nobody cares if you are socially awkward in this group as long as you are a team player. We'll get there together.

• Current players are all technical people with technical backgrounds, most players are technical folks; artists, engineers, or in IT. (Including myself)

• Current age range 35-46, prefer at least age 30.

• Open to all lifestyles.

• All players are portlanders, currently playing online because of covid.

• Most players have kids, game begins after bedtime.

• No PVP unless both players consent, this includes pickpocketing.

• XP awarded for finding peaceful solutions to problems, but campaign is likely combat heavy with a fair amount of tactics. The monsters know what they're doing.

• Social skills can be used in combat against monsters to trick, demoralize, and cause them to flee. Game has a heavy emphasis on thinking outside the box.

• Mega dungeon campaign with a twist of "Wha?!"

• Assistance on how to use FGU will be provided if needed. You can use use the demo version of FGU, no costs associated with game.

• Game mostly RAW (Rules as written), observe all casting requirements

• No in game sex scenes or sex themes. Immediate ban if ignored. Bards can still seduce but there will be no description, just a 'fade to black' during 'the event'.

• Game will happen even if someone is missing that day

• Discord and Fantasy Grounds Unity (demo version) required.

• Multiclassing is allowed but you must have a RP (role-play) reason to multiclass. Additionally, there can never be more than a X level difference between your class levels, where X is your proficiency bonus. (So no 19/1 builds.) Not negotiable. If this rule bothers you please move on but I wish you a good 2023 regardless.

• The following backstory tropes will not be accepted: "Chosen One, Secret Royalty, Immaculate Conception, Result of Sexual Assault, Latent Superpowers/Deity, Schizophrenic Amnesiac, Possessed by Extraplanar Entity.

• Prefer no pet heavy characters as the turns take too long. I know that's harsh for some but we just got out of a multi year pet heavy campaign and I need a break from it. This is a personal hang up and I am aware of that. Familiars are fine.

• No anime characters, pictures, or references. It's not the kind of game.

• 420/drinking is fine as long as you can function conversationally and keep turn length manageable.
