Just finished Death of X…question about Alex at the end

I’m about to move into IvX. I’ve been doing a massive re-read of the major books and crossovers for the last few months. The furthest I had ever gotten before was AvX. Using Marvel Unlimited to catch up and work my way to Hickman!

Just a quick question about Alex…why is his face so scarred now? When he is in the morgue with Emma half his face is burnt. I don’t recall reading about a massive injury to him, but maybe I missed something.
