is Prince Bowser: Young Bowser or Bowser Jr.

So I’m playing partners in time right now and I’m confused. Is prince bowser (past version bowser) bowser Jr or is it just young bowser?

I guess same question goes for the yoshi island games sense it’s the same time period.
