Confused about making chaos (tzeentch) lists

I'm looking to make a Chaos Daemons army, specifically Tzeentch, but I'm confused about composition. They have so few options, and I was wondering if pretty much every list looked similar; what are the archtypes? Also, if they're meant to be psychic heavy but can't manifest the same power more than once per turn (except smite), aren't they unable to do what they're meant to be good at en masse?
