Why does my alcohol disinfectant spray bottle leak when in high altitude?

I was once on a flight when I decided to grab my alcohol to attempt to disinfect my seat (albeit it was already later in the flight). I did notice, however, that there were white dust-like specks floating within the alcohol, and the bottle began to leak from the spray area. I’m wondering: what can high altitude do to a volatile liquid like ethyl alcohol?
