this sub hates sensors

title is a joke (and mainly a clickbait to get ppl talking) but that’s kinda the takeaway I get from being in this sub. i know this is an old topic that just gets rehashed every few months but I feel like it’s talked about but nothing is ever really taken seriously ?? idk. it just feels like there’s a stigma to sensors thanks to very stupid and untrue stereotypes about us that I feel a lot of people take actually seriously.

the majority of stereotypes we get are negative, especially when it comes to xsxj types, compared to intuitives. theres this belief that all of us are hardcore traditionalist, helicopter parents ruining everyone’s fun (I guess I am doing that right now lol) who hate imagination and love rules and despise anyone who says otherwise!! and it makes me wonder is this why people don’t like us. is it because they already have this idea of us that draws them away from us?

we’re already kind of the minority when it comes to the internet, which I also believe is not completely true and i honestly feel a lot of people here are mistyped as intuitives because of the intuitive biases in online mbti tests and/or it’s just the majority in online communities, tv, etc.

i also was mistyped and believed I thought I was an enfp because hey, everyone likes enfps and I wanted to be apart of that too but I eventually had to come to terms with reality haha.

but the myth that we aren’t online a lot because we enjoy the real world is well, i don’t know if it’s the same for the rest but I believe is crazy. yes I love the excitement i get with talking and interacting with people in real life but I also enjoy spending time here as well.

like in almost every mbti tier list we are most likely the bottom, we’re rarely included in any memes, and I know this all feels trivial and silly but it kinda starts to get old after a certain amount of time.

idk what are your guys opinions? maybe other sensors give some input? maybe im just being an idiot.

and this is not to shit on intuitives, a lot of the people closest to me are intuitives i love you guys, but I want to give sensors that same love!
