Is this a good reason to break NC?
I recently left my exwbpd (probably more hpd imo) and moved to an entirely different city.
Before this, we owed around $15k in unpaid rent due to rent moratoriums where I lived and due to myself struggling to find work for at the time. Knowing that the moratorium will be up soon, our apartment complex decided to offer us a deal: vacate within the next month and we will waive your entire balance and return your security deposit. This seemed too good to be true, but I decided to take that opportunity to leave and find a clean slate away from my old, chaotic relationship.
After I broke up with my ex via email, I blocked her everywhere and have not communicated with her in nearly 2 weeks. The problem is that if she does not move out by the end of the month, the deal with our landlord will no longer apply and we'll both be saddled with a ton of debt that I don't want. I don't know if she's still living there and the landlord won't contact her for me to confirm. I let them know that we're no longer together but they don't care. I want to reach out to her but I feel like she might ignore me or intentionally not inform the landlord whether she's left or not just to sabotage us both. Or she'll want to do a phone call instead of a text and give me an earfull.
What would you guys do in this situation?
