Distorted and Glitchy Sound On Predator Orion 3000 Pc

My brother got a new pc for Christmas and he has been having issues with the audio from certain games and apps. When the issue first appeared we troubleshot it to the best of our ability, but ended up replacing it on warranty. This is a new pc, the same model as before and was good for the first few days. Now the same problem is back again. He tells me that last night Windows auto installed a couple audio updates and that he thinks they are what is causing the problem, but the system won’t give him an option to uninstall them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: He has tried the rest of his apps and the sound distortion and glitchyness is across everything.
