Recommendation for long soft tips?

I bought some L style premium lippoints (30mm long) recently so I could put my ring finger on the tip to help keep my dart straight, but they bounce out like crazy. Even when I manage to get them to stick, they are barely holding on, which is really wonky when throwing for the bull to get the start. Any suggestions?

And yes i tried scuffing them up a bit. It works very short term, a few legs at most. Any suggestions for modifying my existing tips is also welcome.
