Where to buy bitcoin, after the Bitvavo debacle?

I'm not new to the world of cryptocurrency, but I recently had a disappointing experience when trying to purchase some crypto at Bitvavo. I'm based in the Netherlands and was wondering if anyone could recommend the best way to buy cryptocurrency here?

I've used exchanges in the past, but the process was slow and confusing. I'm open to using a broker, but I want to make sure I'm using a reliable and trustworthy option.
