TPU Salt Reflow?

Hey, 3d printing folks.

So there was a thread earlier this week asking about making air tight prints and it was suggested that they look at reflowing the material in salt. I'd like to reflow or "cast-in-place" TPU, but before I do I wanted to check if anyone else has already done this?
