Visa Advice for selling at a convention in the US

I'm traveling to the US from the Philippines for the first time to sell my artwork merchandise at a convention and I'd like some advice on what kind of visa to apply for. People are directing me to a B1 visa (business) but that visa only allows me to attend the convention and do negotiations but not sell my merchandise myself, does it? In which case, would you kindly please tell me which visa I should apply for instead? Thank you.
